This fantastic hotel with a great central location, in the heart of the pretty costal town of Bournemouth, is the ultimate place to unwind and relax. Enjoy a drink in the private garden, take a swim in the indoor pool and distress in the sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi. If you’re travelling with children but want to enjoy some time with your partner, why not take advantage of the babysitting services and if you’re travelling by car then you’ll be happy to hear that onsite parking is available so you can explore your surroundings with ease.

Bournemouth beach is beautifully clean and the perfect place to enjoy some fish and chips alfresco and feel truly British. It’s also the birthplace of the beach hut, which was invented in 1908, and you can continue the tradition today by hiring a hut for the day to keep your valuables and beach kit in! Hengistbury Head is also located nearby with plenty of places to cycle with beautiful views of the coast. Bournemouth is big on watersports too, with surfing, jet skiing and windsurfing all available. If you’re feeling flash you can even charter a yacht for the day and enjoy a picnic out at sea.

If the sea air hasn’t tired you out too much, then explore some of Bournemouth’s nightlife. The O2 academy offers some of the best comedy and music acts of the time whilst the Pavillion Theatre and Bournemouth International Centre show a plethora of performances from ballet to ice skating and classical music. Alternatively Rubyz is a much loved bar with dining options and live entertainment five nights a week, including a cabaret and comedy skit every Saturday. For eating out, try British restaurant Bates for homemade cuisine and a friendly ambience.

Paultons Family Theme Park is located in the nearby New Forest and is the home of Peppa Pig as well as 60 rides and attractions to keep your little ones entertained. If you’d prefer to stay local however, Oceanarium is a good option rain or shine, with sharks, green sea turtles and piranhas! You’ll also learn about the effects that climate change is having on the world’s sea life, and with daily talks and feeds there’s plenty of interaction to keep it fun and interesting. Afterwards be sure to treat your little darling to some ice cream on the pier!
