Make sure to order a bottle of the local cava to accompany your meal- this delicious sparkling wine is a product of Catalonia with prices in the supermarket from just 1 euro for a whole bottle! For something sweet, crema catalana is the traditional dessert of the region, but the city also prides itself on a wide selection of exotic ice cream flavours. Just walk down las ramblas and you’ll discover biscotti, peanut butter and pavlova gelato to name just a few.
