Berlin has a number of interesting historical landmarks, and Treptower Park provides visitors with beautiful scenery and a fantastic Russian World War Two memorial to see. The biggest memorial outside of Russia, the display has information on Stalinism and the lives of Russian soldiers who were killed during the liberation of Berlin. In the warmer months you will often see visitors enjoying picnics on the park. For fans of history and architecture, this is a must-see! The park is a slightly further away from the train station than you may wish to walk, but there is a bus drop-off point just at the edge of the park which is the recommended way of getting here.
