Enjoy a fantastic stay in the world’s greatest city, New York. This excellent value Secret Hotel in Long Island city is a commutable distance to both Manhattan and Brooklyn. The hotel has Wi Fi for those looking to surf the web and a restaurant for those who would like to eat in before or after exploring the city. A superb complimentary buffet breakfast is provided by the hotel. Those in need of a workout should take advantage of the health club. You can relax after in the hotel’s jacuzzi. The staff will bend over backwards to make sure you have an unforgettable stay.

You have to go to Brooklyn during your time at this hotel. Venture out to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, which features a spectacular array of blossoming flowers throughout the year. You can easily get there via subway. Whilst in Brooklyn take a trip to the Brooklyn Bridge, one of the staple images of New York’s iconography. This historic bridge, which opened in 1883, connects Brooklyn to Manhattan. It provides stunning views of the Manhattan skyline.

Of course a trip to New York City would not be complete without venturing into Midtown Manhattan. Your first attraction to check out simply has to be the Rockefeller Centre, a commercial district that you cannot help but marvel at. The architecture is simply incredible. If you’re not scared of heights go to 30 Rockefeller Plaza, and admire the dazzling streets of Manhattan from the Observation Deck. Whilst in the Rockefeller Centre head over to Radio City Hall, an amazing art deco building that frequently hosts concerts and other entertainment events.

New York is well known for its incredibly diverse restaurant scene and with its high Italian population it’s no wonder that the Italian cuisine here is incredible. Go to Little Italy and dine in Da Nico, a charming and reasonably priced restaurant. Satisfy your taste buds with the traditional brick oven cooked pizza. The marvellous mozzarella will melt in your mouth. The rest of the food is ravishing too, and the staff are incredibly friendly. A better restaurant could not be recommended.

If you are lucky enough to be in New York in September then go to Little Italy’s annual ‘Feast of San Gennaro’, a huge fantastic street fair that takes place over 11 days. The street fair is a celebration of Italian American history and culture.
